The village of Grindavík is one of Iceland's special surprises for tourists. While best known for its world famous Blue Lagoon.  Since December 2023, there have been seven eruptions along a crater row north of the town. Before that, there were three eruptions near Fagradalsfjall, east of Grindavík. All this made world news. grindavik@grindavik.is
